Details
Summary
CVE-2025-1690 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the ThemeMakers Stripe Checkout plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0.1 are impacted by this issue. Attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into the 'stripe' shortcode, which will execute whenever an user accesses an injected page. This can lead to the execution of arbitrary web scripts, posing a serious security risk. The cause of the vulnerability is insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. It is strongly recommended to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
