Summary

CVE-2025-1662 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting the URL Media Uploader plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations from the vulnerable application. The vulnerability can be exploited to query and modify information from internal services, potentially leading to serious data leaks or unauthorized system modifications. The SSRF flaw is present in all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.0.0. WordPress users are strongly advised to update their installations as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
