Summary

CVE-2025-1560 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WOW Entrance Effects (WEE!) plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 0.1, arises due to insufficient sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'wee' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user visits an injected page, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized account access, or other malicious activities.
