Summary

CVE-2025-1526 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the DethemeKit for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.1.9, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the De Product Display Widget's countdown feature. Consequentially, authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts, which will subsequently execute in the users' browsers whenever they access an injected page. This poses a significant risk for data theft or unauthorized access.
