Summary

CVE-2025-1511 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 4.0.4 are vulnerable due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 's' parameter. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, potentially tricking users into clicking malicious links and executing the malicious code. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to user data or the takeover of user accounts. Users are strongly encouraged to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
