Summary

CVE-2025-1489 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the WP-Appbox plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 4.5.4, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's appbox shortcode. Successful exploitation of this flaw results in the execution of malicious scripts whenever an injected page is accessed.
