Summary
CVE-2025-1457 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Element Pack Addons plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 5.10.28. This issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Wrapper Link, Countdown, and Gallery widgets. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or above can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
