CVE-2025-1407 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the AMO Team Showcase plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.1.4, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the amoteam_skills shortcode. This weakness grants authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above the ability to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
