Summary
CVE-2025-1328 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Typed JS plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.0, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'typespeed' parameter. Consequentially, authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts, which are then executed whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it can lead to data theft, unauthorized account access, and other malicious activities. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of the Typed JS plugin to mitigate this threat.
