Summary

CVE-2025-1292 is a vulnerability affecting Google ChromeOS 122.0.6261.132 on Cr50 Boards. An attacker with root access can exploit an Out-Of-Bounds Write issue in the TPM2 Reference Library, leading to persistence and bypassing operating system verification through manipulating the NV_Read functionality during the Challenge-Response process.
