Summary

CVE-2025-1098 is a critical vulnerability affecting the ingress-nginx component of Kubernetes, specifically versions prior to 1.22.4. The issue allows an attacker to inject arbitrary configuration into nginx via the `mirror-target` and `mirror-host` Ingress annotations. This can result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the ingress-nginx controller and potentially the disclosure of cluster-wide Secrets accessible to the controller.
