Summary

CVE-2025-0897 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the "Modal Window – create popup modal window plugin" for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 6.1.5, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'iframeBox' shortcode. Successful exploitation results in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
