Summary

CVE-2025-0755 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the MongoDB C driver library's bson_append functions. These functions are susceptible to overflow when handling BSON documents exceeding the maximum allowable size of INT32_MAX. The result is a segmentation fault, potentially leading to an application crash. This issue impacted libbson versions before 1.27.5, as well as MongoDB Server v8.0 prior to 8.0.1 and v7.0 prior to 7.0.16.
