Summary

CVE-2025-0624 is a vulnerability affecting the grub2 bootloader. During the network boot process, grub fails to consider the length of user-controlled environment variables when copying data into an internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. This issue can be exploited remotely to execute code on the same network segment as the grub search, bypassing secure boot protections.
