Summary
CVE-2025-0510 is a new vulnerability affecting Thunderbird email clients. If an email's From field utilizes the invalid group name syntax described in CVE-2024-49040, Thunderbird will incorrectly display the sender address. This issue poses a security risk, as it may lead users to trust emails from seemingly trustworthy sources. The vulnerability affects Thunderbird versions older than 128.7 and 135.
