Summary
CVE-2024-9953 is a newly identified denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability affecting CERT VINCE software versions below 3.0.8. An authenticated administrative user can exploit this weakness by injecting an arbitrary pickle object into a user's profile. Although the Django server restricts unpickling to prevent server crashes, the vulnerability may still trigger a DoS condition when the affected profile is accessed, potentially disrupting operations.
