CVE-2024-9868 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress, specifically the Header Footer, Template Library, Dynamic Grid & Carousel, and Remote Arrows components. This issue, present in versions up to 5.10.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Age Gate Widget 'url' parameter. Consequently, authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can manipulate this field to inject malicious scripts, leading to arbitrary code execution when users access the affected pages.
