Summary
CVE-2024-9777 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Ashe theme for WordPress. This issue arises due to the improper use of add_query_arg function without adequate escaping in the theme's URL handling. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious scripts into web pages, potentially gaining control over users' browsers or stealing sensitive data.
