Summary

CVE-2024-9725 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Trimble SketchUp Viewer. Malicious SKP files can be used to exploit this issue, which arises from insufficient validation of object existence during file parsing. An attacker can execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process by manipulating the target to visit a malicious page or open the malicious file. This vulnerability, identified as ZDI-CAN-24109, was reported to the Zero Day Initiative.
