Summary
CVE-2024-9449 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Auto iFrame plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in all versions up to 1.7, allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The 'tag' parameter is the point of entry, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping have been identified. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can execute arbitrary web scripts on pages visited by unsuspecting users.
