Summary
CVE-2024-9346 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Embed videos and respect privacy plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2, allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'v' parameter. Attackers can exploit this weakness by tricking users into performing specific actions, such as clicking on a malicious link, thereby executing the malicious scripts.
