Summary
CVE-2024-9208 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Enable Accessibility plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.4.1 of this plugin contain a flaw that uses add_query_arg and remove_query_arg functions without proper escaping. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, potentially tricking users into executing them by clicking on malicious links. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to serious security consequences, including data theft or website defacement. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin, or consider disabling it until a patch is released.
