Summary
CVE-2024-9066: The Marketing and SEO Booster plugin for WordPress, impacting versions up to and including 1.9.10, contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Malicious scripts can be injected through SVG file uploads due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This issue puts pages at risk, with the execution of injected scripts occurring whenever a user accesses the affected SVG files. Authenticated attackers requiring Author-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability.
