Summary
CVE-2024-9056 is a newly discovered Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting BentoML version v1.3.4post1. An attacker can exploit this issue by appending characters, including dashes (-), to the end of a multipart boundary in an HTTP request. This causes the server to continuously process each character, resulting in excessive resource consumption and rendering the service unavailable. The vulnerability is unauthenticated and does not require any user interaction, making it a threat to all users of the affected BentoML service.
