Summary

CVE-2024-9051 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the WP Ultimate Post Grid plugin for WordPress.Versions up to and including 3.9.3 are impacted by this issue. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's wpupg-grid-with-filters shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
