Summary
CVE-2024-9018 is a vulnerability affecting the WP Easy Gallery plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to perform time-based SQL Injection through the 'key' parameter. The plugin fails to properly escape user-supplied data and prepare existing SQL queries, making it possible for attackers to append malicious SQL queries and extract sensitive information from the database. Versions up to and including 4.8.5 are susceptible to this vulnerability.
