Summary

CVE-2024-8962 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WPBITS Addons For Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.5.2 are vulnerable to this issue. Attackers with Author-level access or higher can exploit this flaw by uploading SVG files and injecting malicious web scripts due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The executed scripts will run whenever a user accesses the affected SVG file, posing a significant security risk.
