Summary
CVE-2024-8961 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 6.0.7. This issue arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'nomore_items_text' parameter. An authenticated attacker, with Contributor-level access or higher, can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended website functionality, data theft, or potentially more severe consequences.
