Summary

CVE-2024-8940 is a vulnerability affecting Scriptcase application version 9.4.019. This issue allows an attacker to upload arbitrary files to the server via a POST request to /scriptcase/devel/lib/third/jquery_plugin/jQuery-File-Upload/server/php/. The vulnerability arises due to the application's failure to adequately verify user input, potentially enabling an attacker to upload malicious files and gain unauthorized access to the system.
