Summary

CVE-2024-8735 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the MailMunch – Grow your Email List plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to and including 3.1.8, stems from the developers' failure to properly escape URL parameters using add_query_arg. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious scripts into pages, exploiting this vulnerability if they can trick users into clicking on malicious links. Users are strongly advised to update their MailMunch plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
