Summary
CVE-2024-8723 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the 012 Ps Multi Languages plugin for WordPress. This issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the handling of translated titles. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute each time a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. Versions of the plugin up to and including 1.6 are impacted.
