Summary

CVE-2024-8632 is a vulnerability affecting the KB Support plugin for WordPress. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to access and modify data due to missing capability checks on the 'kbs\_ajax\_load\_front\_end\_replies' and 'kbs\_ajax\_mark\_reply\_as\_read' functions, present up to and including version 1.6.6. As a result, attackers can read replies of any ticket and mark any reply as read, posing a significant security risk. WordPress users running an affected version of the plugin are urged to update to a patched release as soon as possible to mitigate this vulnerability.
