Summary
CVE-2024-8505 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WordPress Infinite Scroll – Ajax Load More plugin. This issue, present in all versions up to and including 7.1.2, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'button_label' parameter, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary code whenever a user accesses an injected page.
