CVE-2024-8403

Summary

CVE-2024-8403 is a Denial of Service vulnerability affecting Mitsubishi Electric Corporation's MELSEC iQ-F Series FX5-ENET versions 1.100 and later, as well as FX5-ENET/IP versions 1.100 to 1.104. An attacker can exploit this Improper Validation of Specified Type of Input issue by sending maliciously crafted SLMP packets over Ethernet communication. Successful exploitation results in a Denial of Service condition, preventing normal operation of the affected products.
