CVE-2024-8254 is a vulnerability affecting the Email Subscribers by Icegram Express plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. This issue, present in versions 5.7.34 and below, allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The vulnerability arises due to the plugin's failure to adequately validate user-supplied values before processing do_shortcode, making it an easy target for malicious actors.
