CVE-2024-7963 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CMSMasters Content Composer plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 1.8.8 and below, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into the plugin's multiple shortcodes. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin.
