Summary
CVE-2024-7959 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting the `/openai/models` endpoint in open-webui version 0.3.8. An attacker can exploit this flaw to change the OpenAI URL to any destination, causing the endpoint to send requests to the specified URL and return the output. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it allows the attacker to access internal services and potentially gain command execution by extracting instance secrets.
