Summary

CVE-2024-7781 is a vulnerability affecting the Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress. It allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication and log in as the first user who signed up with a social media account, including administrator accounts. This issue arises due to improper authentication in the Social Login widget, which can be exploited even if the Social Login element has been disabled. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 4.7.5, but fully addressed in version 4.7.8. Users are strongly encouraged to update their Jupiter X Core plugin to the latest version to mitigate this threat.
