Summary

CVE-2024-7707 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda FH1206 02.03.01.35 firmware. The vulnerability lies in the formSafeEmailFilter function of the /goform/SafeEmailFilter component in the HTTP POST Request Handler. An attacker can exploit this stack-based buffer overflow issue by manipulating the page argument. This vulnerability allows remote attacks and the exploit code has been made public, increasing the risk for potential exploitation. Unfortunately, the vendor has not responded to disclosure notifications.
