Summary

CVE-2024-7649 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Opal Membership plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.2.4 are susceptible to this issue. The checkout form fields in the plugin lack adequate input sanitization and output escaping, enabling unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
