Summary
CVE-2024-7558 is a vulnerability affecting JUJU_CONTEXT_ID, a predictable authentication secret used in Juju machines and charms, including those running on Kubernetes. An unprivileged user within the same network namespace can connect to an abstract domain socket and infer the JUJU_CONTEXT_ID value. This allows the unprivileged user to access the same information and tools as the Juju charm, potentially leading to security compromises.
