Summary

CVE-2024-7433 is a vulnerability affecting the Empowerment theme for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject PHP Objects through deserialization of untrusted input. No Pop chain has been identified in the vulnerable software, but if one exists via an additional plugin or theme, the attacker could gain the ability to delete files, access sensitive data, or execute code. WordPress users are advised to update the Empowerment theme to the latest version, 1.0.3, as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
