Details
Summary
CVE-2024-7356 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Zephyr Project Manager plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in all versions up to 3.3.100, allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into the 'filename' parameter. Upon accessing an injected page, the vulnerable scripts will be executed, potentially leading to unintended actions or data theft. The root cause is insufficient input sanitization and output escaping within the plugin. Users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
