Summary
CVE-2024-7353 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Accept Stripe Payments plugin for WordPress. This issue occurs in the plugin's accept_stripe_payment_ng shortcode, which does not properly sanitize and escape user-supplied attributes. As a result, attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will be executed whenever an user accesses an injected page, posing a significant threat to website security. Versions of the plugin up to, and including, 2.0.86 are affected.
