Summary
CVE-2024-7256 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting Google Chrome on Android versions prior to 127.0.6533.88. An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting a malicious HTML page and tricking a user into visiting it. The flaw lies in Dawn, a component of Chrome, and stems from insufficient data validation. As a result, the attacker gains the ability to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to significant security implications. Users are advised to update their Chrome browser to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
