Summary

CVE-2024-7004 is a vulnerability affecting Google Chrome versions prior to 127.0.6533.72. An attacker could exploit this issue by convincing a user to perform certain UI gestures, leading to insufficient validation of untrusted input in the browser's Safe Browsing feature. This bypass allows the attacker to circumvent discretionary access control and gain unauthorized access to a system or data. The Chromium security team has rated this vulnerability as low severity.
