Summary
CVE-2024-6825 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting BerriAI/litellm version 1.40.12. The issue involves the mishandling of callback functions in the 'post_call_rules' configuration. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by adding a malicious callback function, which is then appended with a '.py' extension and imported. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary system commands when a chat response is processed, making it a critical remote code execution vulnerability.
