Summary

CVE-2024-6594 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the WatchGuard Single Sign-On Client on Windows. The flaw, classified as an Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions issue, causes the client to crash when encountering malformed commands. An attacker with access to the network can exploit this vulnerability by sending repeated malformed commands, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition for the Single Sign-On service. This issue affects Single Sign-On Client versions up to and including 12.7.
