Summary
CVE-2024-6535 is a vulnerability affecting Skupper, an open-source application delivery platform. When Skupper is initialized with the console-enabled option and console-auth set to Openshift, it configures the OpenShift oauth-proxy with a static cookie-secret. An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting a malicious cookie to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to the Skupper console. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to organizations utilizing Skupper with these specific configurations, and it is recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of Skupper to mitigate this issue.
