Summary
CVE-2024-6530 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting multiple versions of GitLab. This issue allows malicious applications, when being authorized, to be rendered as HTML under certain conditions starting from GitLab version 17.1 prior to 17.2.9, 17.3 prior to 17.3.5, and 17.4 prior to 17.4.2. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to the execution of malicious scripts in users' browsers and potential data theft or unauthorized access.
